Thriving Springs sends system-generated emails to help onboard, engage, and remind users about their learning activities. These emails are triggered automatically based on user activity or admin actions, and some of them can be enabled or disabled based on your organization’s configuration.
Below is a summary of the different types of emails that are sent from the platform:
1) Invitation emails to activate account
These emails are sent when users are invited to join Thriving Springs by admins, either manually or through bulk upload. Admins can re-trigger invitation emails anytime from the Users page in the Admin Portal.
The email contains a temporary password and a link for users to set their own password and activate their account.
Note that Single Sign-On (SSO) do not require invitation emails. They can activate their account access Thriving Springs directly using their enterprise credentials via SSO. It is also possible that user can have both types of login i.e SSO and email/password credentials one.
2) Welcome emails
After a user successfully activates their account, a welcome email is sent to confirm the activation. This email includes helpful information such as the login URL for Thriving Springs. It also serves as a quick reference for users returning to the platform.
3) Reminder emails
Reminder emails help learners stay on track by nudging them based on their course engagement. If configured, Thriving Springs sends reminder emails weekly using the following cadence:
Monday: Digest email listing all assigned courses and learning items that the user has not yet started.
Tuesday: Digest email listing all in-progress courses and learning items the user has started but not completed.
Wednesday: Digest email listing all mandatory courses and learning items that the user is required to complete.
These emails are sent as a single digest per day to minimize inbox clutter.
4) Manager email
Every Thursday, Thriving Springs sends a summary email to managers. This email prompts them to review their team’s learning progress via the Manager Dashboard (My Team) page.
5) Enrollment Emails
When the admin enroll the users to the new courses or learning objects, the users will receive the following email notification. Note that no emails will be sent for group enrollment and bulk enrollments.
Configuration
- Email notifications are configurable at the system level.
- Depending on your organization’s setup, some users may not receive all of the emails listed above.
- To enable or disable specific emails globally, please contact Thriving Springs Support.
